Release NotesIntroductionThis section lists changes to the service by version number and date of release. v4.6.0 - 18th March 2021Changes in this release are as follows: New Balancing Price Spreads chart - Shows min/max bid/offer prices by fuel type. The chart can be found at : BALANCING MECHANISM --> Balancing Price Spreads. v4.5.6 - 12th February 2021Changes in this release are as follows: Entities Dataservice - Added efficiency used for modelling (boosted for CHP assets to account for steam benefit). v4.5.5 - 13th January 2021Changes in this release are as follows: Nordpool DA Prices - Added additional Nordpool day ahead prices. v4.5.2 - 2nd November, 2020Changes in this release are as follows: Interconnector APIs - Fixes on APIs for charts in Interconnectors section. Integration of IFA2 interconnector into screens and calculations ready for go-live. v4.5.1 - 8th October, 2020Changes in this release are as follows: Metered Demand (Settlement) - Added in missing Current Transformer load for <100kW and updated names to show that existing data for non-domestic was Whole Current only. Updated from kV to kW. API is affected by the changes but should now no longer change going forwards. The chart can be found at : System --> Metered Demand (Settlement). BM Unit Operations - Added plots for Undo Bid and Undo Offer actions. The chart can be found at : GENERATION --> BM Unit Operations. API Call Fuel/Location - Added API options for fuel / location meta data. v4.5.0 - 1st October, 2020Changes in this release are as follows: Offer On Table - New table added to replicate the table that exists on enprompt.netareports.com (Live client). This can be used to analyse available of offline units in the Balancing Mechanism historically. The table can be found at : SUMMARY SCREENS --> Offer On Table. BM Unit Operations - Added plots for Undo Bid and Undo Offer actions. The chart can be found at : GENERATION --> BM Unit Operations. API Call Fuel/Location - Added API options for fuel / location meta data. v4.4.0 - 26th August, 2020Changes in this release are as follows: Accepted Actions - The accepted actions table has an additional layer in order to be able to inspect in graphical form the evolution of accepted/declared bids/offers for a selected group of units. BM Unit Operations - Added plot for ABSV which shows the Applicable Balancing Services Volume, ie volume for balancing services outside of the Balancing Mechanism. The chart can be found at : Generation -> BM Unit Operations. Metered Demand (Settlement) - Added a new chart that shows demand by type, e.g. NHH Metered and location. This is settlement data so is only available for users that can see Metered Volume data. The chart can be found at : System -> Metered Demand (Settlement). v4.3.18 - 27th June, 2020Changes in this release are as follows: BM Unit Operations - On this chart system bid/offer volumes have been added to visually show these volumes and to allow for the easy download of these values historically. The chart can be found at : Generation -> BM Unit Operations. BM Unit Bid Profile - On the chart the Import Availability has been added so it is easier to track the storage management at pumped storage and battery plants. The chart can be found at : Balancing Mechanism -> BM Unit Bid Profile. v4.3.17 - 15th June, 2020Changes in this release are as follows: Daily BM Bid Prices - This new table provides on a single screen the valid declared first bid prices (where there is a margin between FPN and MIL), which can be sorted by period. Accepted actions are then highlighted over the top. This provides a comparison of acceptances across the market. The table can be found at : Summary Screens -> Daily BM Bid Prices. Daily BM Offer Prices - This new table provides on a single screen the valid declared first offer prices (where there is a margin between FPN and MEL), which can be sorted by period. Accepted actions are then highlighted over the top. This provides a comparison of acceptances across the market. The table can be found at : Summary Screens -> Daily BM Offer Prices. v4.3.13 - 17th April, 2020Changes in this release are as follows: Accepted Actions Table - This new table provides the stack of all accepted actions in the market which have contributed to the system price calculation. This table also flags system actions (in yellow) and is particularly useful in spotting where the system price calculation has ignored a succession of system actions that might be undone if a new low bid action arrives. The table also shows when the market index price impacts the system calculation and which units are those impacting the price. The table can be found at : Summary Screens -> Accepted Actions. Submitted Bids Table - This new table contains all the volume and price bid pairs for downwards regulation. This shows the complete breakdown of these values and opens up API access to the figures. The table can be found at : Summary Screens -> Submitted Bids. Submitted Offers Table - This new table contains all the volume and price offer pairs for upwards regulation. This shows the complete breakdown of these values and opens up API access to the figures. The table can be found at : Summary Screens -> Submitted Offers. Inertia Estimate Chart - This new chart shows the fuel mix and a calculation of an estimate of system inertia. It shows the system inertia before balancing mechanism actions and after applying balancing mechanism actions. It is useful for analysis of when NG ESO will bring on extra volume in the balancing mechanism and via BSAD trades to provide extra inertia on the system. The chart can be found at : System -> Inertia. SNSP Line on System Fuel Mix Chart - This new line on the system fuel mix chart shows the System Non-Synchronous Penetration (SNSP) on the system. THE SNSP is important because NG ESO will have rules about the amount of non-synchronous generation they can tolerate on the system at one time. The line is a green dotted line on the system fuel mix chart which can be found at : System -> System Fuel Mix. |
